Villa Righino welcomes you to the Tuscan countryside.

We built this house with nature in mind. We used photovoltaic panels for electricity, well water for the garden and a biomass boiler for heating.

The house is surrounded by the beauty and the quietness of the country.

From the garden we can see hills covered with vineyards and olive groves and on the horizon we see the Amiata mountain, Radicofani, Montalcino and the Val d’Orcia.

Villa Righino is suitable for the whole family. Tuscany is well known for its culture, art, cooking and entertainment. You can discover the landscape by riding a bike, on foot along trails or on horseback. You can have fun playing golf or bathing in the famous thermal river and pools. You can also visit the nearby natural reserve of Monte Labbro or enjoy the sunny beaches. Siena and Montalcino are only 25 km. from here and in only one hour, by car, you can reach Firenze (Florence).

Siena is very famous for its medieval history, its art and culture but also for its “Palio”, the horserace which is held twice a year in the wonderful Piazza del Campo. Montalcino is known for its famous Brunello wine, and Pienza for its savory pecorino cheese. You can easily visit San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Nearby there are many farms which produce and sell wine, olive oil, honey and vin santo. In the evening, after a day full of beautiful events, it will be nice to come back home and relax in the refreshing garden and taste our vegetables.

In fact Rino cultivates tomatoes, lettuce, zucchini and strawberries which are shared with our guests. Villa Righino is the best place to visit Tuscany without giving up the quiet of a little village.
